Starting #potterhead week off right with some Weasley-esque copper for my lovely guest!! This time around, I added a little more depth at the roots and throughout her hair and we LOOOOVED it! Ww also removed some length and touched up her shaggy layers and face framing. Thank you SO much to every single one of you who showed your support yesterday for @latterhouse_decor and the 2024 Strike Out Domestic Violence Bowling Tournament. Total Hair Experience Salon is so grateful to have been able to contribute, not only our services, but our time and effort to such an amazing cause.
As stated in my live video yesterday, LatterHouse has been able to help over 80 survivors and survivor families across the metroplex to help them get a beautiful new beginning after transitioning away from Domestic Violence situations. They do this by providing free, customized, professional interior decorating and furnishing services for providers after transitioning out of one of their partner shelters and into a home or an apartment.
I know that for some, this may seem small and or frivolous. But to the families they help, this service not only grants them with furniture that we all sometimes take for granted, like a couch or chairs for the dining table. But it also gives them a sense of peace, normalcy, and comfort while helping to restore a sense of self worth and personal safety.
Volunteering with this organization, as well as being the child of a DV survivor, makes this cause incredibly near and dear to my heart. So please join me in helping to raise funds for @latterhouse_decor throughout the rest of this month. They currently have a wait list of about 5 clients and that number is likely to increase as the year draws to a close. I know that with your support, we can not only reach my goal, but surpass it and be able to do even more to help this worthy cause.

So Ms. Thang normally gets a nice tight curl and possible a wrap for lots of volume but, when she told me she wanted her hair STRAIGHT, I was shook 😱 SO you know I had to hit witha two piece from one of my favorite brands, @amikapro , and use their amazing Mirrorball line to give her that perfect silk smooth, shiny look. And THEN I took it up ANOTHER notch by using my @oliviagarden_int Speed XL Round brush to give her her very first round brush blowout. After a quick bump with my flat iron, her hair was absolutely perfect and we were in LOVE! 😍😍😍

This was DEFINITELY my hair of the week last week for SURE! My beautiful client was so distraught when she went to another stylist wanting this beautiful copper and they literally made her KOOL-AID RED!! 😱😱😱 Talk about spooky, right?
So, over the last month, I had her use clarifying shampoo to help gently pull out that old color and give us a new canvas to start with.
During her appointment we did another quick round of color remover just to get rid of some extra lingering pink tones, then I got to WORK!
After just 3.5 quick hours, I created this beautiful copper masterpiece using my all time fave color from @redken and then styled her for the GAWDS using my all time favorite tools from @oliviagarden_int .

My beautiful cousin came to me with a little #paranormalhairtivity yesterday and we just HAD to get her right. Using @redkenpro Shades EQ Cream in shade 6GI, we created a little bit of a root blend to eliminate the harsh transition from black to blonde.
